Kudos

I’ve worked with Diana over the past 2.5 years in her capacity as a communications and information management specialist. During this time, she has done an outstanding job of helping our team improve the quality of our communications. She has provided a diverse range of deliverables, including designing and managing SharePoint sites, writing articles about team deliverables and success stories, and developing and maintaining cross-functional communications dashboards and portals that act as our organizational intranet. She also has been heavily involved in various information management projects and has helped with employee onboarding.

Diana’s work is always top quality. Her graphic designs such as logos and icons are widely used across the organization. Her newsletters and articles have been instrumental in informing internal stakeholders at all levels, from team members to the CIO, about the important work we’re doing. The quality of our PowerPoint presentations is at a professional level that we had previously never achieved. She has been a strong proponent of messaging and brand consistency in all her work.

Diana has also leveraged her organizational, project, and information management skills to help document business processes and has enabled a structured approach to managing and communicating information. She’s always willing to learn new skills and do whatever is necessary to advance the team’s and department’s objectives, working well in collaboration with others or as a self-starter to get things done, all while maintaining a positive attitude.

Having worked on the same publications as Diana, I can attest to her great creative talents. She has a clear vision about what making compelling content and delivers it to readers every time. Diana collaborates well with writers, photographers and others involved in the editorial process to come up with unique, appealing concepts. Additionally, she does so with a friendly attitude while expecting the best from all her contributors. I highly recommend using her as a writer and editor.

Diana is a joy to work with: She’s extremely bright and creative, tech-savvy and one of the best copy editors I’ve had the pleasure of working with. She’s deadline-conscious and yet able to craft a quality product, both editorially and graphically. To top it off, she’s a lovely person to be around, with quite a sense of humor. Anyone who hires her will be lucky to have her.

As a professional writer, I have worked with good and bad editors. Diana falls into the GOOD category and is quite likely at the top of the list. She is thorough and detailed, but also understands the writing craft. As a graphic designer she was always able to take my vision and deliver something even better than I imagined. I would not hesitate to work with Diana again.

As chair of the Hays County Democratic Party, I relied almost daily on the many contributions of Diana Robinson to assist me in the myriad tasks required in our fast-growing and ever-changing county. Her graphic design skills were outstanding in the creation of campaign flyers, impactful door hangers, colorful posters, booklet covers, postcards, newspaper ads, website designs, social media, and so many more. She’s also an accomplished editor and writer, who as chair of the Communications and Technology Committee provided her expertise with press releases, letters to donors and activists, Facebook posts, and any and all formal correspondence on behalf of the party.

Diana was also an excellent precinct chair and the elected leader and chair of the Kyle/Buda-Area Democrats (KBAD), and she was elected to represent our state senatorial district as a Democratic presidential elector in 2020. She was an invaluable resource to me and our members, and we will always be grateful for her talents, advocacy, and support to help us achieve our goals and further the causes we mutually shared.

I can’t say thank you enough for all your hard work on my campaign for Buda City Council. Your creative artistry combined with your practical production knowledge resulted in some incredibly effective and attractive campaign pieces. I received many complements on your wonderful designs.

The campaign yard signs, the larger signs for busy streets, and the literature pieces for use while blockwalking set a great tone with unique graphics for a campaign. I appreciate how you were able to translate my ideas into a distinctive look and thoughtful copy that worked equally well in a variety of applications and configurations.

I’m so pleased to have been able to work with you. I know you were working on a variety of projects, and I’ve seen the results of your efforts all around town.

Please don’t hesitate to let me know if there is anything I can do to help spread the word about your incredible talents.
— Terry Cummings, MS, RN, Buda City Council

Diana consistently produced great graphics to improve the appearance of our messaging and online promotions. Her ideas were fresh, clean, and timely. She’s a formidable asset to have on your team.

Diana Robinson designed several postcards and doorhangers promoting candidates that our group of voting activists in Central Texas used from 2018 through 2020. These were very effective in helping us educate voters — many of whom were new to our area since our county is growing rapidly — regarding where and when to vote and where to obtain reliable information about candidates. Her work is crisp, clear, and aesthetically pleasing, and she delivers on deadlines as promised. Choosing her to do your design work is a move I can highly recommend.

Diana is a versatile, knowledgable and creative design professional, able to design, edit and write with an equally high level of skill and dedication. She is up to the task, whether the project involves print publications, advertisements or web-based communications. She solves design and editorial challenges with creativity and enthusiasm and has a tremendous eye for detail.

Diana has all the necessary attributes of a good editor. Mostly, she is attentive to detail, especially as grammar, content and meaning are concerned. As for design, she is a quick study, translating ideas to design projects, often under stringent deadlines.
— Dan Leigh, writer and editor (from LinkedIn)

I highly recommend Diana because she’s the graphic designer I always wanted to be. She can make it look pretty AND fix all the grammar and typos. I can’t count the number of times I went to Diana with a pile of random notes and abstract instructions only for her to turn it into an informative visually pleasing thing of beauty. When it comes to tight deadlines where no mistakes are allowed, Diana was always part of the solution.

I worked with Diana for 12 years at Divers Alert Network in Durham, N.C. Her attention to detail, focus, and commitment to quality have remained unmatched. In addition, she was always willing to assist in matters great and small but kept her focus on priorities. She was a resourceful and ready go-to person.

Over the many years I worked with Ms. Palmer [now Robinson], I came to depend on her creativity as part of her role in the Communications department. She exhibited a critical eye for detail, which was tantamount to successful internal and external communications. Ms. Palmer had a quick wit and was keen to offer a humorous perspective, especially when tensions were at their highest, thus alleviating much of the stress of the moment.
— Jeffrey Myers, former chief operating officer and executive vice president at Divers Alert Network (from LinkedIn)

Diana is very professional and does great work. She is also a team player and has great ideas. I highly recommend Diana.
